Paul Thomson

Editor, SafeCam Guide

Paul Thomson is the pen name of SafeCam Guide's editor. We use a pen name because of the subject, not to hide how we work.

Paul has worked in the internet business for more than 20 years and knows how hard it is to tell what's safe on cam sites from what isn't. That's why this site exists: to sort the fake from the real.

Paul buys tokens with our own test accounts on every platform we cover, and contacts each site's customer service to see how smoothly it goes. Everything else gets checked at the source: checkout pages, help centers and billing companies. Our pages say where key facts come from and when they were last updated.
