Print this, or keep it open in another tab, the first time you buy tokens anywhere. It takes about five minutes and pulls together everything our other guides go into in detail.
Before anything else
Don't send money, gift cards, crypto or bank details to anyone outside the platform, whoever they say they are. Here's why.
1. Is the site real?
- I typed the address myself, or used a bookmark or a guide I trust. Not a pop-up, an email or a text.
- The address is spelled right and starts with
https://, with a padlock in the browser bar. - There’s a company name, terms of service and a privacy policy linked at the bottom.
- There’s a 2257 notice, which means performers’ ages are checked.
More on this: are cam sites safe? and how to spot fake sites.
2. Is my account secure?
- I’m using a separate email address, just for this.
- My username gives nothing away. No name, no birth year, no hometown.
- My password isn’t used anywhere else.
- Two-factor authentication is on, if the site has it.
More on this: cam site privacy compared.
3. Is the payment under control?
- I’m buying the smallest pack.
- Nothing is ticked at checkout that I didn’t tick. No membership, no auto-refill.
- I’m paying with a discreet method I’m happy with.
- I’ve written down the billing name shown at checkout.
More on this: paying discreetly and hidden fees.
4. Is my device private?
- I’m in a private window, or my own browser profile.
- I’ve blocked notifications from this site, and I haven’t saved the password on a shared device.
More on this: keeping your browsing private.
5. Have I set a budget?
- I know how much I’ll spend this month, and I’ll stop when I get there.
More on this: how to set a spending limit.
After you’ve paid
- Look at your banking app the next day, and again when the charge goes through.
- Keep the receipt email.
- If something looks wrong, go to the site’s support first. See refunds and chargebacks.
Everything ticked? Then you’re ready. Take your time and enjoy it.
