SafeCam Guide is designed to collect as little information about you as possible. You can read every page without an account.

What we collect

  • Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider records technical information when pages are requested: IP address, browser type, page requested and time. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are deleted after a limited period.
  • Your text-size preference. If you change the text size, your choice is stored in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.
  • Emails you send us. If you contact us, we keep your message and email address to reply and to follow up corrections.
  • Aggregate statistics. If we use an analytics service, it will be configured to measure page visits in aggregate, without advertising profiles. This policy will name the service.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t sell or rent personal information.
  • We don’t run advertising networks or cross-site tracking.
  • We don’t ask for or store payment details.

When you follow a link to a cam platform, including our affiliate links via safecamguide.com/go/, you leave our site. The platform may record that you arrived from us, which is how affiliate commissions work. From that point, the platform’s own privacy policy applies. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you. Write to editors@safecamguide.com and we’ll respond within the time the law requires.
