Flirt4Free has more show types than most sites, and the names can be confusing. Here’s how a private works, what it costs, and the one detail about privacy worth knowing before you start.
Before you start
You need credits. The first-purchase offer gives 300 credits for $20, which is ten minutes with a Standard model at 30 credits a minute. See buying Flirt4Free credits.
Then spend some time in free chat. It’s the best way to find out whether you’d enjoy a one-to-one with someone. Look at the rates shown on their feed too: a model’s private rate appears at the top right of the video, with the multi-user rate next to it if they offer one.
How to start a private show, step by step
- Find the blue Start Your Show banner. When a model takes privates, it appears next to the tipping tool, under their video.
- Click it. A pop-up sums up the model’s per-minute rate, for a private show and, if offered, a multi-user show.
- Click Start Your Show in the pop-up. The show begins.
- Watch the countdown. Above the chat, a timer shows how much private time your credit balance buys.
- Leave whenever you like. Credits are taken one at a time, so you stop paying when you leave, and the rest stays in your balance.
What it costs per minute
| Show | Credits a minute | Per minute | 10 minutes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 30 to 60 | $2.50 to $5 | $25 to $50 |
| Premiere Chat | 70 to 500 | $5.83 to $41.67 | $58 to $417 |
| Combo room, private | 60 to 120 | $5 to $10 | $50 to $100 |
| Multi-User | 10 to 120 | 83 cents to $10 | $8 to $100 |
The show types
Standard is Flirt4Free’s word for a private: one-to-one video chat with the model you choose. It’s the most common show type.
Premiere Chat is the same idea with the models Flirt4Free rates as its best, and its highest-quality video. It costs a lot more, so check the rate twice.
Multi-User works like a private, but other members can join at the same rate and chat with the model too. The rate is usually lower. Some rooms are Combo rooms, offering both: there, a multi-user show always costs two thirds of the private rate, and you can start or join one as long as the model isn’t already in a private.
Show Offers let you haggle. In rooms that allow it, a Make an Offer button lets you propose a length (say 5 minutes), a rate (say 50 credits a minute) and how long the offer stays open. The model can accept, refuse or counter, and so can you. The catch: you’re guaranteeing that time, so if you leave early the model still gets all the credits you agreed. If the model ends early, you only pay for the minutes you got. Once the agreed time is up you can stay on at the same rate, and the model can end the show whenever they like.
Group Chat has a credit goal set by the model. Members pledge credits, and once the goal is met the show starts within 30 seconds.
Party Chat is open to everyone and free to join. You tip if you want to. There are no privates while a party is on.
Feature Shows bring in well-known adult performers at 30 credits a minute, free for VIP members.
Not every model offers every type, and Flirt4Free asks members not to ask a model to switch type or rate.
Who can see your private
Your chat stays between you and the model. Flirt4Free’s FAQ says no other users will see the video feed or the chat exchange.
Its Show Rates page adds a nuance, though. When a model is in a Standard or Premiere show, other members can enter voyeur mode and watch the full-size video, for 10 to 40 credits a minute. Out of respect for the customer, they get no audio and no text chat. In a Combo room, there’s no voyeur mode during a private.
What does that mean for you? Unless you use Cam2Cam, you’re never on camera, so a voyeur sees the model, not you. And your words stay private. If you’d rather nobody watch at all, a private in a Combo room has no voyeur mode. Our guide to whether cam models can see you covers the camera side.
Cam2Cam
Flirt4Free has Cam2Cam, which lets the model see you through your own webcam, and the Show Rates page marks the show types where it’s available. It’s your choice to turn on. Read is Cam2Cam safe? first.
Keeping the cost under control
- Read the rate in the pop-up every time. Premiere rates can be ten times a Standard one.
- Watch the countdown timer. It’s there so you’re never surprised.
- Buy only the credits you mean to spend. When they run out, the show ends.
- For a cheaper taste, try a multi-user show or a party chat first.
