How to Sign Up on Stripchat, Step by Step

Stripchat is one of the easiest sites to join. You can make an account with just a username, look around for as long as you like, and spend nothing.

Before you start

Open a private browser window. In Safari tap the tabs button and choose Private, in Chrome pick New Incognito tab. Nothing stays in your history once you close it. More in keeping your browsing private.

Step 1: Open the site yourself

Type stripchat.com into the address bar. Ads and messages promising “free Stripchat tokens” often lead to copies of the site built to collect passwords.

You can already watch from the home page without an account.

Step 2: Create Free Account

Click Create Free Account. The form asks for a username, and offers to continue with an existing account such as X.

Step 3: Your username

Performers and other viewers see it in chat. Leave out your name, town, birth year and anything you use elsewhere online. Something plain like “coastalnights” is perfect.

Take a moment over it. On Stripchat, changing your username whenever you like is one of the perks of the paid Ultimate membership, so don’t count on renaming a free account later.

Step 4: With or without email

The form has a Continue Without Email option. That’s about as discreet as sign-ups get. The trade-off is that an email address makes it easier to get back into the account if you forget your password. If you do add one, make it an address only you read, created just for this.

Step 5: Turn on two-factor authentication

Stripchat supports 2FA, an extra code at login that stops anyone using a leaked password. It takes a minute to set up in your account settings and it’s worth it.

Step 6: Age checks

Before your first purchase: account verification

Stripchat only allows card and PayPal purchases from verified accounts. Open the drop-down menu and choose Account Verification. There are two ways to do it:

Verify your card. Stripchat places a random hold of under $2 on the card you last used for purchases. You find the pending amount in your banking app and type it in. The hold is released afterward, and your account is verified straight away.

Upload a document. A scan or photo of your passport, driver’s license or ID, or of your credit or debit card showing only your full name and the first 6 and last 4 digits. Stripchat reviews it within 24 hours.

The card option is quicker and shares less.
