People like PayPal for the same reason they’d like it here: their card details stay with PayPal and the shop never sees them. Unfortunately, it’s rarely an option on cam sites.
Why most sites don’t take it
PayPal’s acceptable use policy restricts adult services. Platforms that want to accept it have to meet strict conditions, and most don’t try. So on most cam sites, you won’t see PayPal at checkout at all.
The exceptions: Stripchat and Streamate
Streamate accepts PayPal for some buyers. Whether you see the option can depend on your account and where you are. When it’s used, the charge appears in your PayPal history and on any linked card as *PAYPAL ICFTECH, after ICF Technology, the company behind Streamate.
Stripchat shows PayPal as one of four payment methods in its Buy Tokens window, next to cards, gift cards and crypto. Before your first PayPal purchase, Stripchat asks you to verify your account, either with a small temporary charge of under $2 on your card or by uploading a document. See how to buy tokens on Stripchat.
If PayPal is important to you, Stripchat is the simplest place to use it, with packs from $4.99.

The best alternatives
A prepaid Visa or Mastercard. The closest thing to PayPal’s separation. You buy it at a pharmacy or supermarket, load an amount, register it online with your ZIP code and use it like a card. Your bank never sees the purchases. See gift cards and prepaid cards on cam sites.
A second credit card. One you use only for online entertainment, with statements going to an email only you read. You keep full fraud protection.
A virtual card number. Many banks let you create one in their app. It still bills to your main account, but you can freeze or delete it instantly.
Crypto, on platforms that offer it. Private, but more complicated and with no way to undo mistakes. See paying with crypto.
All of these are compared in how to pay discreetly on cam sites.
Watch out for “PayPal token” offers
If a website or a person offers to sell you tokens for a PayPal payment, it’s almost certainly a scam. Tokens can only be bought through the platform’s own checkout. A friends-and-family PayPal payment to a stranger can’t be recovered.
