Flirt4Free has been around since 1996, and joining takes about two minutes. The part worth thinking about is the email address, because the site will write to it.
Before you start
Open a private browser window. In Safari tap the tabs button and choose Private, in Chrome pick New Incognito tab. Nothing stays in your history once you close it. More in keeping your browsing private.

Step 1: Create Free Account
Click Create Free Account. The form asks for three things:
- a chat nickname
- an email address
- a password
Below it, you can continue with Google or X instead.
The small print under the button matters: by signing up you confirm you’re over 18, accept the terms and privacy policy, and agree to receive emails. There’s no box to untick.
Step 2: The nickname and the email
Leave your name, town, birth year and anything you use elsewhere out of the nickname. If you’re stuck, the little magic wand in the field suggests one for you.
For the email, we’d skip the Google and X buttons. They tie Flirt4Free to an account you use for everything else, and the emails that follow land in your main inbox. A fresh address made just for this keeps it all in one quiet place. Pick a password you don’t use anywhere else.
Step 3: Choose your screen name
Next comes a Choose Screen Name window. This is the name models and other members see in chat. Flirt4Free suggests one, made of two random words and a number, and the wand gives you another if you don’t like it. Click Complete Registration and you’re in.
A nice touch for privacy: one account can hold several screen names. Registered members can create alternates, and unlock more with rewards points, up to 20 in total. If you’d like a fresh name in a room, you don’t need a new account.
Step 4: Age checks
Several US states require adult sites to check visitors’ ages. If you live in one of them, you may be asked to verify your age. We explain what happens to your data in cam site ID verification: is it safe? and list the states in age verification by state.
What a free account gets you
