Go back to the same performer often enough and you’ll eventually be invited to join their fan club. So what does that actually involve?
What it is
A fan club is a monthly subscription to one performer. A small members’ club, more or less, around someone whose company you like. For performers it’s one of the main ways to build a loyal audience and a reliable income.
Most token sites have them, though the name varies.
Chaturbate and
Stripchat call it a fan club. Elsewhere it might be a subscription or a friends feature.
What members usually get
It depends on the site and the performer, but often:
- A badge or colored name in the room, so the performer spots you right away.
- Private messages, free or cheaper.
- Exclusive content: photo albums and recorded videos on the performer’s profile.
- Room privileges, such as being able to chat when the room is members-only.
- Discounts on privates or tip menu items, if the performer offers them.
- A notification when they go live.
The cost
The performer decides, but it’s usually 100 to 500 tokens a month, about $10 to $50. Depending on the site, it comes out of your token balance or goes straight on your card.
To put that in perspective: a regular who tips $5 a week is already spending $20 a month. A fan club at the same price can get you more for it.
Renewal
Most fan clubs renew every month. On some sites that happens automatically, from your tokens or your card. On others it’s manual, and you get a reminder.

Worth it?
It’s good value if you visit the same performer at least once a week, if you’d use the private messages to keep in touch between visits, if you like their photos and videos, or if you simply want to support them more than the odd tip does.
If you’re still trying out different rooms, probably not yet. Wait until you’ve got a clear favorite. Finding performers you’ll enjoy can help with that.

Keeping it in proportion
A fan club can make things feel personal, and that’s a big part of the fun. Keep it inside your budget, keep all contact on the site, and know that a real performer will never ask you to pay them anywhere else. See romance scam warning signs.
