Once you have a favorite performer on Chaturbate, you’ll start noticing the green usernames in their chat. Those are fan club members. This page explains what joining gets you, how payment works, and when it’s worth it.

What a fan club is

It’s a monthly membership with one performer. They choose the price, and joining is a direct way of supporting them. There’s no limit to how many fan clubs you can join.

It’s separate from Chaturbate’s site-wide Supporter membership ($19.95 a month), which removes ads and unlocks private messages. We cover that in is Chaturbate Supporter worth it?

What members get

According to Chaturbate’s help center, fan club members get:

  • a green username in chat, so the performer and everyone else can see you’re a fan
  • free access to all of the performer’s Fan Club Exclusive Content, the photos and videos they upload for members

Some performers add extras through room apps, such as free tickets to their ticket shows. That depends on the performer, so read their profile or ask.

Paying by card or with tokens

You can pay for a fan club either way, and the difference matters if the performer changes their price later.

Paid withIf the performer raises the price
CardYou keep paying the price you joined at. Join at $5.99 a month and you stay at $5.99 even if it goes up to $10.99.
TokensYou pay the new price when your membership renews.

That example comes straight from Chaturbate’s help center. One catch with the card price lock: if you cancel and rejoin later, you pay whatever the current price is.

A card payment shows on your statement under Chaturbate’s neutral billing name, like token purchases. See Chaturbate’s billing name.

How to join

  1. Open the performer’s room or profile and find the fan club button.
  2. Check the monthly price.
  3. Choose to pay by card or with tokens, and confirm.

Your username turns green straight away, and their exclusive photos and videos unlock.

Cancelling

Click My Profile at the top right of the site and open the Memberships tab. Cancel the fan club there. Remember that a card-paid membership keeps its old price only as long as you stay subscribed.

Is it worth it?

It’s worth it if you see the same performer several times a month and enjoy their extra photos and videos. The green name also helps you stand out in a busy room.

It probably isn’t if you visit now and then, or haven’t settled on a favorite yet. The same money spent on tips lets you try more rooms.

A simple test: add up what you tipped one performer last month. If it’s more than their fan club price, joining gets you the extras without spending more.
